About Michael

Michael Repse is a Senior Associate (effective July 2020) in the firm's property & development practice. He advises on front-end construction law, and has acted on a range of residential, commercial, retail, industrial and mixed-use developments throughout Australia.

Michael's clients include both public and private clients, encompassing major Australian and international property developers, financial and educational institutions, professional consultants and pro-bono clients.

Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws with honours from the Deakin University in 2014 and was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 2016.

Practice focus

Michael's practice focuses on the following areas:

  • construction and project management, including the preparation and negotiation of construction and consultancy documentation and providing strategic advice, and
  • due diligence in respect of project finance transactions.

  • 3L Alliance: in relation to stage 1 of the "Queens Place" development for the construction of an 80 story residential tower at 350 Queen Street, Melbourne
  • Aurumland: in relation to the "Aspire Melbourne" development for the construction of a 64 storey residential tower at 299 King Street, Melbourne
  • Beulah International: in relation to the "Paragon" development for the construction of a 48 storey residential tower at 320 Queen Street, Melbourne
  • Charter Hall Group: in relation to the development of two automated customer fulfilment centres for the Coles Group in Melbourne and Sydney
  • Eco World International: in relation to the "Yarra One" development for the construction of a 27 storey residential tower at 18 Claremont Street, South Yarra
  • Growland Group: in relation the "Victoria Square" development for the construction of 939 residences across 6 buildings, up to 24 storeys at 8 Hopkins Street, Footscray
  • Golden Age Development Group: in relation to the "Sky Garden" development for the construction of 3 mixed-use towers atop The Glen Shopping Centre at 235 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley. 
  • Golden Age Development Group: in relation to "The Harrington Collection" development for the construction of a 9 storey residential and retail development at 85 Harrington Street, The Rocks, New South Wales
  • Golden Age Development Group: in relation to the "Sky One" development for the construction of a 36 storey residential and retail mixed-use project at 545 Station Street, Box Hill
  • GurnerTM: in relation to the "Saint Moritz" development for the construction of 130 apartments at 14-16 The Esplanade, St Kilda, Victoria
  • GurnerTM: in relation to the "Victoria & Vine" development for the construction of 240 residences, 11 retail spaces, commercial offices and a community arts precinct in the mixed-use project
  • JD Group: in relation to the "Victoriana" development for the construction of a 18 storey residential and retail project at 20 Queens Road, Melbourne
  • JD Group: in relation to the "Sierra" development for the construction of a 5 storey residential and retail mixed-use project at 196 Burwood Road, Hawthorn
  • MIT Group Holdings: in relation to the development at 388 William Street, Melbourne for the construction of 35 storey mixed-use project
  • Salta Properties: in relation to the development of 459 Church Street, Richmond, via a joint venture with Abacus, for the construction of a 14 storey commercial office project
  • Salta Properties: in relation to various commercial office and industrial warehousing developments throughout Salta's extensive property portfolio
  • SP Setia Bhd: in relation to the "Sapphire by the Gardens" development for the construction of two towers including the Shangri-La Hotel, at 308 Exhibition Street, Melbourne, and
  • SP Setia Bhd: in relation to the "UNO" development for the construction of a 65 storey residential tower at 111 A'Beckett Street, Melbourne.
  • Time & Place Property: in relation to the development and construction of "Victoria Place", a commercial office development at 200 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne.
