Jonathan Wenig features in new education series

ABL partner Jonathan Wenig has featured in News Corp’s latest panel discussion series, Unpacked – A neurodivergent generation, a two-part series hosted by Dr Susie O’Brien, National Education Editor.

In part two of the series, titled ‘Educating diverse minds’, Jonathan speaks about what inspired him to found All Things Equal, the Melbourne café creating employment opportunities for young people with disabilities.

Jonathan shares All Things Equal’s vision and reflects on the barriers many young people with disabilities continue to face when seeking meaningful work. He highlights the importance of creating inclusive environments where people are supported to build skills, confidence and connection.

All Things Equal was founded to create practical pathways to employment in a welcoming, community-focused setting. Jonathan’s contribution to the panel underscores the impact that inclusive workplaces can have in expanding opportunities and challenging assumptions about disability and employment.

The Unpacked series brings together parents, adults with lived experience and experts to explore issues affecting neurodivergent children and young people, including diagnosis, identity and education.
