Arnold Bloch Leibler has acted for one of Australia’s leading private insurance distribution firms, Insurance Brands Australia (IBA), in relation to its sale to Steadfast Group for $301 million.
Established in 1983, IBA has a network of over 400 insurance professionals across 70 locations and predominantly focuses on the SME sector.
Corporate and M&A partner Jason van Grieken together with senior associate Ari Bendet and lawyer Billy Sakis, advised on all aspects of the transaction. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of August 2022.
