Arnold Bloch Leibler has advised private property developer City Harbour on the sale of two office buildings (and an associated 163 car park podium) located at Melbourne’s Docklands to Singapore-listed Straits Trading Company for $150 million.
The properties include one of Docklands’ first buildings – ‘Customs House’, located at 1010 La Trobe Street and neighbouring property – the ‘Innovation Building’, located at 192 Harbour Esplanade.
As reported in The Australian, the sale represents one of the largest property deals in Melbourne this year.
Property & Development partner Dorian Henneron and senior associate Rob Deev advised on all aspects of the sale.
Dorian Henneron commented on the sale: “Congratulations to City Harbour and the team on the sale of the two Docklands offices. The sale demonstrates an increasing confidence in Melbourne’s real estate market post-COVID.”
