Former Australian Ambassador to the United States The Hon. Arthur Sinodinos AO provided a special briefing for ABL clients in Sydney last week on the implications of the upcoming Presidential Election.
Introducing Mr Sinodinos as a long-term client and friend of the firm, ABL’s managing partner in Sydney Paul Rubenstein described the Trump/Harris election as “the most compelling and consequential in a very long time”.
Having served as ambassador from the final year of the Trump presidency through to March last year, and previously as a senior government minister in the federal parliament, Mr Sinodinos provided an insightful analysis of the campaign strategies of the candidates, the implications for Australia and the world of each of the two victory scenarios, and how leaders can and must revive people’s waning trust in democracy.
