Senior Associate Ari Bendet listed as “2022 Rising Star” by Australasian Lawyer

Corporate and M&A

A list of Australia’s “up-and-coming legal superstars” – professionals aged 35 or under - was announced today by Australasian Lawyer. The 79 young lawyers were selected from a pool of talented candidates nominated by their firms late last year.

A senior associate in Arnold Bloch Leibler’s corporate and M&A practice, Ari has significant experience in complex, large-scale corporate transactions. He acts for a range of public and private clients in Australia and overseas across various industry sectors including technology, hospitality, healthcare, infrastructure and financial services.

Profiled on the ABL website, Ari explained why he had chosen to specialise in M&A, enjoying the fast-paced nature of the work, the complexity and variety of the deals, and the sophistication of the clients.

“Unlike many other areas of the law, you have a clear goal you’re working towards,” he said. “While a dispute may take five years to settle, when a deal is completed, you can look back with a real sense of achievement.

“It’s also rewarding to be working so closely with clients, who view Arnold Bloch Leibler as their strategic advisers, not simply the people who will execute their legal documents.”
