Arnold Bloch Leibler has been recognised as ‘Law Firm of the Year’ for Insolvency & Reorganisation Law by this year’s Best Lawyers International peer-reviewed guide.
Responding to the recognition, partner in the firm’s restructuring and insolvency practice Elyse Hilton said that through the COVID lockdowns, more traditional insolvency work diminished for a range of reasons. “We have attracted more eclectic, higher risk and bespoke non-public restructuring work through this period and it’s an honour to be recognised by our colleagues across the legal profession, including our competitors.”

Stephen Lloyd, another member of the ABL team, said that Arnold Bloch Leibler’s leadership in policy advocacy was another point of difference in the market, highlighting the contribution of Genevieve Sexton who chaired the Review into the Insolvent Safe Trading Harbour.
The firm’s renowned tax practice was also awarded Law Firm of the Year in this year’s Best Lawyers guide.
