Launch of 'The Powerbroker: Mark Leibler, An Australian Jewish Life'

On Monday 20 July, 'The Powerbroker: Mark Leibler, An Australian Jewish Life' was launched online by former Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Aboriginal lawyer Noel Pearson.

Authored by award-winning journalist Michael Gawenda and published by Monash Publishing, the book provides an insightful, behind-the-scenes account of the life and multi-faceted accomplishments of Arnold Bloch Leibler’s senior partner.

While The Powerbroker is not an authorised biography, Mark provided the author with access to his extensive archives and was interviewed at length. The book also includes interviews with former Prime Ministers of Australia and Israel, and other key decision makers across politics, Indigenous Australia and the Australian Jewish community.
