Joining Genevieve on the panel are insolvency specialist Stephen Parbery, a senior advisor at Duff & Phelps-Kroll and Leanne Chesser, a restructuring partner at KordaMentha.
As reported in public sector news resource The Mandarin, the Assistant Treasurer described the review, which is anticipated to last three months, as “part of the government’s commitment to explore further reforms of Australia’s insolvency framework that will provide businesses with the opportunity to turnaround, restructure and survive”.
He said the panel appointments brought a high level of skill and experience to the review.
