Director of Human Resources Shaneen Argall has been selected by an esteemed panel of lawyers, academics and business leaders as a finalist in the prestigious Women in Law Awards, in the category of HR Professional of the Year.
The annual awards program recognises “outstanding women influencing the Australian legal profession”, highlighting the role of human resources professionals as “an essential pillar to any legal firm, who not only connect the firm with new or prospective employees, but are also fundamental to creating and cultivating the culture of the business”.
In supporting Shaneen’s nomination, managing partner Henry Lanzer said that her contribution to Arnold Bloch Leibler extends well beyond that of a traditional HR director into all aspects of the firm’s business operations. “Whether it is her obvious capability and experience, her approach to the job or her personality – Shaneen brings all of these attributes into the role, making her consistently and highly effective.”
The winners of the Women in Law Awards will be announced at a gala dinner in Sydney later in the year.
