Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) is the native title representative body for Western Australia’s Pilbara, Mid-West and Gascoyne regions. As a not-for-profit organisation run by an Aboriginal Board of Directors, it provides services including claim representation, heritage protection services, executive office, community and economic development and natural resource management.
YMAC has a representative area equivalent to approximately one third of WA and has worked with Traditional Owner groups - all with their own language, culture and traditions – over the last 25 years to achieve over 30 native title determinations.
For more than 20 of those years, Arnold Bloch Leibler has been a proud partner of YMAC, providing strategic advice in relation to complex government reviews.
