About Ellie
Ellie Mason is a senior associate in our Dispute Resolution & Litigation practice in Melbourne.
Ellie has acted for individuals, companies, commercial and residential property developers, land-owners and purchasers. She has experience in a range of matters, including general commercial disputes, high net worth estate disputes and property disputes in the Supreme Court of Victoria, VCAT and other Australian tribunals.
Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Ellie worked as a researcher at the Victorian Bar for several senior counsel specialising in administrative and commercial law.
She was admitted to practice in 2020. Ellie holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma in Music from Melbourne University, as well as a Juris Doctor from Monash University.

- developers: in building and construction disputes and also in relation to major domestic building disputes at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal
- developers, including Buxton Real Estate, Landream Property Developer and Mirvac: in relation to protection works disputes at the Building Appeals Board
- developers and lot owners: in relation to owners corporations disputes
- landlords: in retail lease and commercial lease disputes
- various companies: in relation to disputes concerning contracts of sale, including first and last rights of refusal
- claims in relation to architectural cladding applications and also nuisance
