Arnold Bloch Leibler advises Australian Community Media on large scale enterprise bargaining

Arnold Bloch Leibler has advised national rural and regional media business Australian Community Media on large scale enterprise bargaining resulting in the refresh and approval of several enterprise agreements across its extensive network. The work is continuing.

The new enterprise agreements will see guaranteed wage increases and other conditions for employees working across mastheads in Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.

Australian Community Media has worked co-operatively with the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA), employee bargaining representatives and its broader employee base throughout the bargaining process. This has enabled agreement to be put in place that provide a positive outlook for employees after a very challenging pandemic period.
