About Caroline

Caroline Jones practises in the firm’s litigation & dispute resolution group. She has acted for companies and individuals in matters in the Supreme, Federal and appellate Courts.

Caroline graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours. She was admitted to practice in December 2012. Prior to joining ABL, Caroline practised at Minter Ellison and was Associate to the Hon. Justice Sloss of the Supreme Court of Victoria.   

Caroline is a member of Victorian Women Lawyers. She has previously served as an Executive Committee member and Editor of the association’s annual journal, Portia.

Practice focus

Caroline’s practice focuses on:

  • commercial litigation and dispute resolution;
  • insolvency; and
  • corporate risk.

Experience

Caroline has acted for companies and individuals in a range of matters including on behalf of:

  • liquidators and administrators of listed and unlisted entities;
  • company directors in litigation arising out of alleged breaches of directors duties;
  • solicitors and financial service providers subject to misleading and deceptive conduct and negligence claims;
  • executors and beneficiaries in large Estate disputes;
  • individuals and private companies in shareholder, partnership and trust disputes; and
  • private companies in relation to contractual disputes, consumer law disputes, copyright and trademark infringement claims.
