The deal, announced on 30 September last year, was completed on 1 April 2020. The sale consists of Nufarm’s South American crop production and seed treatment operations in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Chile.
Nufarm Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Greg Hunt commented on the deal: “The sale of our South American businesses significantly strengthens our balance sheet and enables us to focus on improving cash generation across our businesses”.
