Paul Rubenstein practices in a range of general commercial areas. His expertise is banking and finance, with a particular emphasis on project, property and structured finance, as well as securitisations. He also regularly acts on other commercial matters, including private equity and venture capital transactions, insolvency workouts and mergers and acquisitions, bringing a considerable international perspective to his legal practice.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science and graduated with first class honours in law from Monash University in 1991. As a Commonwealth Cambridge Trust Scholar, Paul completed a Master of Laws at the University of Cambridge in 1993, graduating with first class honours in all subjects. He is also an accomplished author, having published several articles. Paul was formerly a partner at one of Israel’s leading commercial law firms, Herzog Fox & Neeman, before returning to Australia and joining the partnership of Arnold Bloch Leibler in 2002.
