Indigenous tertiary student cadetships
Arnold Bloch Leibler offers cadetships for Indigenous tertiary students who are interested in a career in law, secretarial, accounts or information technology.
As a cadet you will undertake a 12-week paid work placement for each full year of the cadetship. During the work placement, you will gain employment experience related to your course of study and receive a wage from the firm. As a cadet, you will receive study payments and assistance with purchasing books and equipment throughout the cadetship. You will be teamed up with a ‘mentor’ who will answer your questions, offer advice and maintain regular contact with you. We will also welcome you to our monthly staff drinks, practice area lunches and other informal events.
Our cadetship is a joint initiative with the Australian Government and the programme is administered by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
